Hi I’m Amelia Flowers, owner of Chic Alterations. I’m a southern girl living in the Hudson Valley. And when I say southern I mean from the coast of Mississippi, so the bottom of the States. I have lived in the Hudson Valley for the last 8 years some would say its become home.

I have always had a love of fashion and clothing but nothing every fit the way I envisioned it to. When I was younger my mother would alter different garments for me, and eventually she taught me how to alter garments myself. There is nothing like when clothing fits properly, it flattering to your figure while giving you the confidence to exude a sense of poise and sophistication.
